Bungalow re-roof in Redland 49 tiles, Sidcup

A straightforward, well-finished re-roof on a Sidcup bungalow. The old covering was stripped and replaced with grey Redland 49 interlocking tiles.

Tyvek breathable felt and new battens went down first, then the tiles, with clean hip and ridge lines and neat lead work where the roof meets the chimney.

The photographs were taken on a bright day and show just how uniform a properly set-out tiled roof looks.
