About this project

The original plastic conservatory roof on this Sidcup home was tired, noisy in the rain and did nothing for the look of the garden.

The team stripped the polycarbonate sheets, battened out the roof and finished it in Marley Eternit fibre cement slate with matching ridge detailing. The result reads as part of the house rather than an add-on.

A solid slate roof also makes the room far more usable in summer heat and winter cold.
