About this project
Lead work around a chimney is where most roof leaks start, and this Eltham property was no exception. The existing flashings had reached the end of their life.
New code 4 lead was fitted around the whole stack — front apron, stepped side flashings and back gutter — dressed tightly to the brickwork and the tile profile so water is shed cleanly on every side.
The rain did not stop the job. The finished lead work is neat, properly lapped and will protect the property for years.
