About this project

The communal walkway on this Greenwich block of flats had an ageing asphalt surface that was cracking and letting water through to the flats below.

Rather than rip everything out, the team overlaid the existing asphalt with a three-layer Restec fibreglass (GRP) system, sealing every edge, outlet and upstand. A final coat was applied with quartz chippings broadcast into it for a durable, non-slip finish suitable for constant foot traffic.

Restec themselves featured the job on their own social media and praised the detail work.
